Kinver Open Gardens
Multiple EventAbout This Event
Spend a weekend exploring eight beautiful private gardens across Kinver, each opening its gates to visitors for two days only. From a brand-new south-facing allotment with raised beds and a church view, to a mature wildlife oasis complete with a restored 1960s caravan and a mid-century gin palace, there's something to spark ideas for every kind of gardener.
Wander terraced hillside plots packed with artefacts and quirky finds, a peaceful 50-year-old oasis alive with dragonflies and frogs, and a tranquil cottage garden with its own artist's studio. Don't miss Chestnut Lodge on Dark Lane, with its summerhouse, secret water features, blessed chapel, and steps leading down to a riverside cave.
Each garden offers its own character, planting ideas, and a warm welcome from the owners, many of whom are happy to chat and share tips on the day. Refreshments including tea, coffee, scones and cakes are available at Kinver Senior Citizen's Club.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £1 for children, with all proceeds in aid of Kinver Youth Café, a safe and welcoming space supporting young people in our community.
Pick up a programme to find your way around all eight gardens and enjoy a relaxed weekend celebrating the gardens and gardeners of Kinver.
