Kinver Traditional Folk Song Club welcomes those who share an interest in the folk songs that have stood the test of time over many generations. They are a forgotten part of our musical heritage and deserve to be passed on to our descendants. Our core of regular singers often accompany themselves on instruments such a guitar or concertina. Many of the songs have choruses which lend themselves to audience participation and our harmony singing is gaining an enviable reputation. Open (but brief) discussion about the songs in encouraged. Our meetings are friendly, good humoured and informative so please feel free to join us. We welcome anyone who would like to come and listen and particularly singers who have a traditional song to contribute.
