Kinver Community Initiative

Kinver Helper Network

Do you have a bit of spare time and a skill or two? You could earn extra money helping your neighbours and make a real difference to someone’s life.

Work when it suits you Earn money Stay local Help your community

There are plenty of people in Kinver who could do with a helping hand โ€” especially as they get older. Whether it’s a lift to the shops, a bit of company over a cup of tea, or someone to sort out the garden, small acts of help can make a huge difference to people’s lives.

Kinver’s Network of Helpers is putting together a simple directory of local people willing to offer their time and skills on a paid, private basis.ย You decide what you offer, how much you charge, and when you’re available.ย The team will help you get set up and sort the paperwork โ€” then you’re off.

This idea has worked really well in other rural communities โ€” for both the people helping and the people being helped. It creates something that wasn’t there before: a trusted, local network where neighbours support neighbours.

2
We get you set up
We help with the legal and admin side โ€” making sure everything is above board and you're confident to start.

Your details and what you offer go into the local directory. People looking for help can find and contact you directly.

You agree terms
You and your client agree everything between yourselves โ€” what you'll do, when, and what you'll charge. You stay in control.
