This edition of Kinver News marks a milestone as it represents the culmination of our first full year of publication. The inaugural issue, published this time last year, was well received and encouraged us to push forward into 2025. And it has been a great year! We’ve successfully produced and distributed spring, summer, autumn and now winter issues, with each one being delivered to more than 3000 homes across the parish of Kinver.
While our core content remains the regular contributions from village organisations and groups, we’ve also included some longer feature-type articles, as well as updates from our elected representatives at all levels.
Kinver News is run by a small team of volunteers who coordinate the production and publication of each issue. However, the overall effort goes much wider. Without the contributions from our local organisations, there would be no news to publish.
Without the financial support of our advertisers, we would be unable to pay for the printing, and without our small army of volunteer distributors who spread out across the parish four times a year, the magazine would not get delivered. Thank you to everyone who helps make Kinver News possible.

This issue’s cover image was taken by Dave McGirr and shows the Sterrymere by the Edward Marsh Centre on a frosty day in January.
