This will be followed on 5 November with the return of Val Campbell and a talk on "Dr James Barry", one of the world's first female surgeons - although she had to take on the identity of a man to achieve it. • Heat Pumps: will they work for me?

    Senior Citizens Club, Legion Drive

Come and get the lowdown on heat pumps, the myths, the reality, and how to ensure your system is right for you. Will it mean major upheaval? What will it cost? What are the issues to think about in advance? The government is subsidising heat pump installations, because they are more efficient and can run on renewable electricity. Find out how to access the £7500 grant. There will be a chance to put your questions to our speaker, Mr Bean Beanland; and to hear from local people who have had heat pumps installed. Open to all, and free of charge. Facebook link KinverClimate Website link https://kinverclimate.co.uk/home-energy/
